ATV Aerial and Satellite Company

Kind Currency is excited to unveil another of the founding businesses to support its Community Interest Company – ATV Aerial and Satellite Company Ltd.

ATV Aerial & Satellite Co.Ltd is a family run business that looks after aerial installation and repair, satellite dish replacement and repair, cabling, bird protective roof caging, CCTV, TV installation and wall handing; and WiFi boosters. The company works with residential and commercial clients on small and large scale jobs across the entire North East.

At the heart of the business is Grant and Jayne Smith, with son Blaine. And their common desire, apart from always to do an outstanding job, is to pay back the local North East economy and put something back into the community.

In the last few years, the team has supported a number of charities including Movember, Age UK Northumberland and an animal charity that focuses on reducing theft.

They have reduced pricing on CCTV for older people in the community, and always look to see where their talents can be best utilised to support people. Grant said: “When we heard about Kind Currency and it’s aims to bring businesses with purpose to the right audience, whilst raising money for the needy in our communities, we instantly wanted to be onboard. We aren’t the largest company for what we do in the area, but do think we care the most. Our purpose is to make people happy and to have safe, comfortable homes or to help hospitality, care homes and landlords make sure their customers have the best in viewing, safety and broadband.”

Michelle Jones, founder of Kind Currency, is delighted to have ATV Aerial and Satellite Company onboard. She said: “This company is proof that you don’t have to be a large operator to make a difference. Ethics and purpose are about an approach to life and business. Having an approach that cares about good service and giving back is so important. Family businesses are the heart of many communities and if they were all like ATV Aerial and Satellite Company then this world would be a kinder place!”
