Kind Action
Sea Change is a community interest company based in South Shields. We are a coffee shop, bar and kitchen and also have an arts / gift shop. Our main aim is to provide employment opportunities for neurodiverse adults. We work with adults with autism, learning and physical disabilities, mental health issues and other neurodiverse conditions. We offer ongoing support in a relaxed, safe environment where trainees can thrive and progress within their roles. We currently have 16 staff of which, 13 are paid employees and 3 are volunteers; 13 members of staff are neurodiverse. We also have 7 neurodiverse adults on work placement.
Our mission is to support further individuals into employment and to support other workplaces more inclusive by training and supporting them and their staff teams to also offer employment opportunities to neurodiverse adults.
